Parkcity Kensington, London

Stayed at this Hotel and the room was pretty small, yet really well appointed, and in the end you are not in the room very much after all. In fact most hotel rooms in London are small. The hotel feels more like a small unique boutique hotel, which is nice. Kensington is a great area to be in and easy to get to the tube.

From their website: “Set within the exclusive Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, the Award-Winning Parkcity Hotel has become a popular destination Townhouse Hotel for the most discerning of business and leisure clientele.

The original grand architecture of this Boutique Hotel housed behind the façade of seven Victorian townhouses is complemented by an eclectic blend of contemporary design and detail.

From our highly personalized, warm and welcoming service, spacious bedrooms to our private garden – these exceptional touches of style will guarantee a most memorable experience.

In close proximity to Earl’s Court and Olympia Exhibition Venues, Royal Albert Hall, London’s famed museums and the exclusive shopping areas of Knightsbridge and Kensington, the Capital City is one of the world’s most glamorous, cosmopolitan and exciting cities, with something to offer everyone.”

* * * * funky area and easy to get around.
