We loved Fab Pad Paris. The location is fantastic on the edge of Marais closer to Bastille but that’s the awesome part. The beauty of Marais with restaurants, cafes and shopping but then you have Bastille metro that connects you to everywhere in Paris
The apartment was large for Paris standards. Fit out was great, having been recently renovated and maintained beautifully. Great bathroom with washing machine and dryer combined. The kitchen was well stocked with all you would want including coffee machine and mod cons but we never used them with all the cafes close by.
It’s fantastic being able to open the windows into the courtyard and bedroom for fresh air and soak up the Parisian lifestyle. The bedroom window opened on to a busy road which we loved to hear the people and the bustle of Paris. Yet when the windows were closed you you couldn’t hear anything because of the double glazing.
Just remember its on the third floor, with no lift. So keep your suitcase light, the exercise is great considering the beautiful food you will enjoy. Building is very secure.
The Aussie owner Bridget was great with very friendly and helpful and made the booking and arrival process very easy.
You cannot go wrong with this apartment it really is FAB PAD PARIS. We can’t wait to come back to Paris and stay there again.
Location Located in the historic Marais district of Paris, only 80m (87 yards) from the famous Place des Vosges and the Place de la Bastille. Metro lines 1, 5 and 8 are around the corner, as are several public bus routes, including one to the Eiffel Tower (bus 69), making access to any part of Paris easy and convenient. The “hop-on, hop-off” tourist bus circuit also has a stop at the Bastille.
The nearest major train station is the Gare de Lyon, only a ten minute walk or one stop on the Metro. The Gare du Nord (Eurostar/Thalys trains) is less than 20 minutes away by metro (direct, line 5).
