Como The Treasury, Perth

From the moment you walk into the Como treasury you know you are in for fabulous experience.

Not only is the building stunning but the staff are highly trained professional who know how to take great care of you.

We bypassed check in as this was a special occasion stay and I had organised spa treatments at the shamabala day spa and wow what incredible spa. The spa is situated in the old vault part of the building. The treasury is a heritage building and the owners have kept and used the heritage features like the vaults as a feature of the building. The spa room was huge and beautiful appointed, you never see sinks or benches with equipment it’s cleverly hidden by sliding walls keeping the room minimalist and sleek. The treatments themselves were excellent. We then moved onto the lounge bar for High a tea which has to be the best in Perth, each item has a story and comes from a different region of WA highlighting the local products. During High tea our room key was presented as a surprise my partner. We stayed in the Treasury suite which was a corner suite over looking St George’s cathedral and city of Perth building. The suite was spectacular with heritage big windows and high ceilings and so big. We had a seperate living room with a massive tv, couch and dining table. The bedroom was massive with a Uber king bed, motorised curtains and a fireplace which on a winters night would be so romantic. The bathroom is the biggest hotel bathroom in Perth with a big bath, marble clad shower and heated floors, very luxurious. If this is your first stay at the Como treasury wander around the hotel and take in the beautiful architecture and heritage structure, the pool is the new addition with the gym, but the modern glass structure compliments with history of the building. There was nothing that I could fault about the room or the hotel, it’s 6 star luxury.

Of course while you're in Western Australia, you should also visit the Margaret River area which is full of vineyards and wineries complete with tasting cellars and many gorgeous boutique places to stay, like Basildene Manor and Empire Retreat.

Plus we have flights up north to Broome where you will experience WA's 90 Mile Beach, some of the best ocean and beaches you will ever see. Cable Beach Club is set right on the beach in Broome and well worth a visit.
