Sydney, New South Wales

Sydney, Australia's largest city, is home to iconic structures such as the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge.

This truly is one of the great cities of the world to wander around and take photos in. If you ever get to sail into Sydney on an ocean liner, then do it. A spectacular harbour to either enter or exit from.

New South Wales is a southeastern Australian state, distinguished by its coastal cities and national parks.

Not far Inland are the rugged Blue Mountains, rainforests and outback towns where opals are mined. Along the coastline are long surfing beaches. The Hunter Valley region, in the north, has dozens of wineries.

One of the great things to do while in Sydney is to climb the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge.
