The staff at Maca Villas were outstanding for our twelve day stay there. The villas are comfortabnle (not much difference between the standard and the deluxe villas – the deluxe has a tv in the living area and a daybed that covers part of the pool).
The villas are well furnished although the bed was a bit hard (they changed it within 10 minutes when we mentioned it). The living area opens out with sliding doors to the pool area if you want during the day, but the great thing is you can close it off at night to keep the mossies out and the cool air conditioned air in.
The coffee at the front restaurant is good and the cafe is open all day. The villas are maintained pretty well, although they will need to keep an eye on it. Even though all villas have their own pool, there is also a main swimming pool inside the complex that is quite nice with sun lounges around it.
One of the rgeat things about Maca Villas was that they had complimentary drop offs anywhere you wanted , any time of the the day in their vehicles. I think there was only one time that they did not have a vehicle available for us in 12 days.
