Marina Bay Sands, Singapore

Our experience at Marina Bay Sands wasn't the greatest. It felt like there were just too many rooms for them to be servicing (over 2,000 i believe). It took an hour or so to get our luggage delivered, which didn't really set things off to a good start. We were chomping at the bit to get out and experience some great Singaporean food and just sat around in the room waiting for a change of clothes, losing momentum. There were a few other issues along the way that demonstrated poor service.

However, there is a great cheese and chocolate restaurant at night on the top floor that is worth experiencing. Hexy in price (around $50pp).

There is also the infinity edge rooftop pool which sounds so luxurious and glam, however we found it to be quite cold and it was full of kids - all the time until around 10pm at night. But it is pretty spectacular up on the roof, so much so that it's a bit of a tourist destination even if you're not staying there so sometimes a bit of a queue happens at the elevators to get to the rooftop pool.

There is a great restaurant bar also on the rooftop that is well worth a visit.
