Hua Hin, Thailand

Hua Hin is a seaside resort on the Gulf of Thailand, in the southern Thai province of Prachuap Khiri Khan. Once a quiet fishing village, it grew into a fashionable escape for residents of Bangkok after the 1920s, when the Thai royal family built summer palaces here.

Hua Hin Beach is popular for kitesurfing and other water sports, is the main stretch of sand, lined with high-end hotels and seafood shacks.

It's easy to get to from Bangkok by car (200km) for 2- 3 hours or a short light plane flight for 20 mins.


We stayed at The Six Senses Hideaway (Evason), which was beautiful. We were treated like kings and their Earth Spa with each room made out of rammed earth huts (see below) was probably the most amazing spa I have ever been to.
